Consigning with Fashionably Yours
Clean out your closets and fill your pockets by consigning with us at Fashionably Yours. We accept men's and women's contemporary designer apparel, bags, shoes and accessories, specializing in luxury, contemporary, and streetwear brands.
How to Consign:
- Show us what you’d like to sell:
- bring your items into the store any day (Monday-Wednesday: 11-7, Thursday-Saturday: 11-8, Sunday: 11-6).
- Mail them to our Queen St. Storefront.
- Contact us for a home visit.
- All items must be cleaned before being dropped off and items with noticeable damage will be priced accordingly.
Pricing and Payments:
- A consignment specialist will negotiate pricing with you:.
- Prices are determined based on original retail, style, condition, and demand.
- Our split is typically 50/50, however luxury items are eligible for higher splits.
- Large appointments may not be priced on the spot and a detailed list of items and their prices will be emailed to you.
- You will have 24 hours to confirm pricing via email if pricing is not agreed upon on the spot.
- Items are kept for 4 months:
- After 2 months items are reduced 25%
- After 3 months items are reduced 50%
- If you do not want your items to go on sale it is your responsibility to notify us and pick up your items in advance of the sale date.
- Payouts occur each month between the 15-28th, items can be paid out in the month following their sale.
- If you are not able to physically pick up your cheque in store we are happy to mail it to you or alternatively if you are outside of Ontario we can set up alternative payment methods.
- Money can also be used in store and is worth an additional 20%.
- You can track your sales online through our consignor portal.
What We Accept:
- New and gently used authentic designer items.
- We range from mid to high end.
- Seasonal items.
- We begin taking items approximately a month before the season begins
- Timeless and/or current pieces.
- We do not accept vintage items with the exception of luxury brands.
We mainly operate on consignment, but in select cases we can offer a buyout on items (ie. like-new condition designer handbags, large quantities of designer items). All buy outs are considered on a case by case basis and offer a lower return than consignment. Please contact us at email@example.com if you are interested in a buyout.
Note: We do not guarantee a buyout option on all items.
- You may take your items back at any time.
- Please give us 2 days notice before picking up your items so that we can process the return.
- Without notice we cannot guarantee your items will be ready for pickup on the spot.
- Items will be kept in our inventory for one month after their sales term expires.
- Items that are not retrieved during that period will be donated to a charity of our choice.
- Luxury brand items will not be donated.
- Items will be shared on our website and social media at our discretion.
If you have items that you are interested in consigning with us, simply email us a few photos and any relevant details to firstname.lastname@example.org and one of our consignment specialists will reply within 24 hours.
