HOW TO SELL. IT'S EASY & FAST!
Clean out your closets and fill your pockets at Fashionably Yours. We specialize in the buying and selling of coveted luxury handbags as well as women's, men’s and kids contemporary, designer and streetwear apparel, shoes and accessories.
CHOOSE HOW TO GET US YOUR ITEMS FOR AN APPRAISAL:
1: In Person: bring your items into the store Monday to Friday between 12-5pm located at 707 Queen St W in Toronto.
2. Ship: your items directly to our store address: Fashionably Yours 707 Queen St. West, Toronto, ON, M6J 1E6 using a carrier of your choice or we can provide a free shipping label upon request. Send us photos of items via email email@example.com or DM us on Instagram @shopfy prior to sending for approval.
3. Courier Pick Up: Complimentary pickup service is available in the GTA for items valued at over $1000. Inquire within.
4. In Home Visit: Contact us for a home visit. We will come to you!
All items must be cleaned prior and items with noticeable damage will not be accepted for sale. We will however assess the damage and such items may incur possible repair and/or cleaning costs.
CHOOSE A SELLING OPTION:
1. Consignment: Earn between 50-70% of resale value (recommended for the highest return) and get paid after your items sell.
2. Direct Buyout: Earn between 30-40% of resale value and get paid immediate payout pending authentication of your items (recommended for the fastest payment option). We offer a buyout on select items such as like-new condition designer handbags, apparel and accessories or a large quantity of designer items in bulk. All buyouts are considered on a case by case basis.
3. Credit: Earn between 50-60% of resale value and get an immediate store credit (or trade). Store credit never expires and can be used in store or online.
A consignment specialist will suggest pricing based on several factors including original retail, style, condition, demand and current resale value.
Most appointments are priced on the spot except large appointments and heavy traffic days (weekends). A detailed list of items and their prices will be emailed to you and await your approval within 24 hours. You can track your sales online through our consignor portal.
The consignment term is 4 months and follow the markdown schedule below unless specified in advance:
-after 2 months items are reduced 25%
-after 3 months items are reduced 50%
If you do not want your items to go on sale, please confirm this immediately after receiving your INVENTORY LIST or notify us to set up a time to pick up your items in advance of the sale date. We suggest setting a reminder in your calendar otherwise items will automatically be reduced as per our consignment schedule.
CONSIGNMENT PAYMENT OPTIONS:
We offer several flexible payment options:
- Cheque pick up in store anytime between the 15th-28th of each month following the sale of your item/s.\
- Cheque mail out upon request
- E-transfer is offered for consignors living outside of the GTA or Paypal for international sellers.
- Monies owing never expires and can be used as a Store Credit towards in-store or online purchase.
What We Accept:
- New and gently used authentic contemporary and luxury designer and streetwear apparel, shoes, accessories and bags.
- We accept mid to high end brands, including men’s, women’s and kids.
- Seasonal items. We begin taking items approximately two months before the season begins.
- Timeless, and/or current pieces
- We generally only accept vintage or specialty pieces by luxury brands such as Chanel, Christian Dior, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Givenchy, Jean Paul Gautier etc…
Additional consignment Information:
- Items picked up before the 4 month consignment term may incur a return $50 fee once authentication has been completed and item has been listed online.
- Please contact us via email and we will contact you with confirmation once your items are ready for pick up.
- Without notice we cannot guarantee your items will be ready for pickup on the spot due to high traffic.
- Items will be kept in our inventory for one month after their sales term expires. Items that are not retrieved after this 30 day period are subject to donation to a charity of our choice.
- Our website is highly curated therefore Items will be posted on our website and social media at our discretion.
If you have items that you are interested in consigning with us, simply email us a few photos and any relevant details to firstname.lastname@example.org and one of our consignment specialists will reply within 24-48 hours.
